Coleen Kearon

Coleen has worked as a vocational counselor since 2000 and is currently certified in Vermont and New Hampshire. A Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), she also specializes in ergonomic evaluations and job analyses and is an asset to employers looking to prevent workplace injuries and increase employee retention. Highly regarded for her professional and practical approach, Coleen helps clients gain valuable job search skills that enable them to return to suitable employment. Prior to becoming a VR Counselor, she worked as a Clinical Case Manager for individuals with chronic mental illness, and as a Crisis Counselor for a state hospital diversion program. She also served as a Student Advisor/Instructor at the secondary and college level. Coleen enjoys working with diverse populations, focusing on helping injured workers in transition acquire the skills they need to re-enter the workforce. Consistent with the philosophy at VRS, Coleen understands the importance of communication and ensuring that everyone involved is up-to-date on every file.
